  • Fixing Details

  • Place Gutter Guard under the existing support brackets.
  • Pass the clips on the end of the Gutter Guard, between the matching grid holes on the next Gutter Guard.
  • Clip Gutter Guards together.
  • Trim last Gutter Guard to suit your own length of gutter.
  • Do not forget SAFETY must come first when fixing.

FloPlast 112/68mm Half Round Rainwater System is manufactured to BS4576 specification. All other systems comply with the material requirements of this Standard and are subject to a similar manufacturing and quality control regime as the Half Round System. FloPlast Pipes and Gutters are manufactured within a quality management system which has been assessed and registered by the British Standards Institution as meeting the requirements of BS EN ISO 9002:1994(certificate no. Q09318).

  • Gutters, pipes and fittings manufactured in PVC-U, a material which is not easily ignitable and will not support combustion. All products comply with the material requirements of BS 4576:Part 1: 1989
  • Suitable for all types of buildings including domestic, commercial and industrial.

    To select the gutter size appropriate to your requirements, two factors must be taken into consideration.

  • Gutter Flow Capacity

    The effective roof area can be calculated by using the following formula:

    Gutter Flow Capacity

    Gutter flow capacity is dependent upon system type, outlet position and whether gutter is laid level or to a specified fall. The table above gives the required information based upon a Rainfall intensity of 75mm per hour and recommendations from BS EN 12056-3:2000.
